When the sky is gray, there are some things which can make life prettier. I find my guilty pleasure in hot chocolate drink. This time I decided to spice it up with some cherry syrup. I was a little bit skeptical, but in the end, it was all okay.
RECIPE:
CIOBAR:
1 tablespoon cocoa powder, bitter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon plain flour
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon plain flour
1 cup whole milk
6 easpoons cherry juice/ syrup/ liquor

Mix the dry ingredients in a thick sauce pan.

Mix in the milk, a tbsp at a time until it becomes smooth and then add the rest of the milk at a faster pace.
- Put 3 teaspoons of cherry syrup (or liquor) in the cups.

Heat mixing all the time for about 5 minutes until thick. Pour into 2 cups and serve steaming hot with a spoon on the side.
- Add some marshmallows, candy cane, whatever you like.(from food.com, with some my own additions)
